Not knowing misions on deeps dive
Hello community on reddit. I come to give a little feedback about something I don't like, or I simply tell you my opinion.
It seems to me that it is not good for the game not to know what missions we are going to have in the deep dives. Because each miner has their own way of playing and the perks, weapons and other choices we make modify how we play and choose them depending on what missions there are. Since in deep dives we don't know what missions we have, we can only use a "generic build" to face the entire run, or search on the internet (like I do) what the missions are and thus adapt to the 4 miners (or whoever we want use) for that deep dive that week. Personally, I think that knowing what missions we will have helps because the game is about that, changing weapons, talents, perks to enjoy the mission more. I would like it to be added in the next patch or something like that. What do you think?
I love DRG, greetings from Argentina

A. Some people prefer to discuss it as a community and work out what the missions are and how best to tackle them, that's why the Deep Dives are the same all week long.

B. Other people consider not knowing what you're up against the first time to be part of the challenge.

Group A wouldn't be affected by your proposed change, and Group B would be actively harmed by it.

Sounds like you're part of Group A, so just go read up on it; that's what you're supposed to do.

There is a website that will show what missions are generated on DD/EDD...

http://www.doublexp.net

Driller is the probably the most affected if he brings the wrong weapons (Flamethrower vs Dreads, Cryo vs Robots etc), however if you brought a full team it should still be ok

I always thought it was strange they didn't have a subforum on Steam dedicated to the Weekly Deep Dive. I don't know if there is anyone who could set that up, but it would be exceptionally rockin' to have a place to discuss the different strategies for conquering these semi-fixed challenges.

Even if you don't want the information for "spoiling the surprise" of the challenges for the week, it's a great place to learn about the approaches people use to handling different things, which makes even older information and discussion useful as a organically growing guide.

I could see the devs maybe adding a button in the Deep Dive terminal where you can spend some credits & minerals to reveal the missions.

Gives people the option of whether or not they want to know what's coming.

Most devs don't really care about any discussion forum except their own Discord servers anymore, Steam forums only exist because they just come along with selling a game on Steam.
FIgured that might be part of the added challenge, making do with a not perfectly, min maxed to the max build in every section.
