I am new to DRG. Which mods you can recommend to me?

Choose mods with your own opinion, because mods just like guns - you create your own build.
Just try. I have only cosmetic mods, non gameplay because I like original DRG experiense:pickax::goldvein:

verified mods.
Mod Hub and DRGLib allows mods to function correctly and you to customize them

Brighter Objects (and add-on), Weapon Heat Crosshair, Platform Placement Preview, Ammo percentage indicator, Modified gunner shield effect, Sprint by Default / Hold to Walk, Combined Resources, Status Effect Duration Indicator, Build Inspector, Steeve and Bot Better Visibility, 5x Flashlight Range, Light Beam Beacon, rancor's Rig HUD, Boss HP Bar for Big Enemies, Closer Promotion Terminal (Updated), More HP Bars, ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN, Glowing Equipment, Cave Leech Loudencer, Better Unknown Horror Indicator - This is pretty large list of mods that will significantly improve your game experience. They should work in all lobbies.

Add some music and visual mods by taste, don't be afraid to experiment.

Using the ingame mod loader breaks a bunch of weird stuff like the beard physics, and they constantly stop working for no reason, so I dont recommend any mods to start out with.

That said: I use Rancors Rig HUD, Fast Forging, and More HP Bars. All Verified so you wont lose achievements or progression.

Any mod that makes the game easier is cheating.
I always advocate for putting at least a few hours into a game without any mods. That helps you both understand what the gameplay is actually like and get an idea of what kind of mods you're looking for.
Ammo percent indicator, auto-sprint, simpleQoL, and Weapon Heat Crosshair are all verified mods that should be added to the base game they are so good. They will work in all lobbies you join and are pure quality of life, you don't get an unfair advantage like certain verified mods. Highly, highly recommended.

I use other verified mods that change sound effects or visuals for weapons, but they are mostly based on personal preference. I like using a mod that removes ice particles and the muzzle flash from the Bulldog, M1000, and Warthog because otherwise I can't see anything. There's mods that remove even more particles and graphic elements to help reduce lag.

NONE

You have to experience it raw first.

Thanks @all for the recommendations. I will look into it. I think currently I will have the raw experience and also to get used to the game and after a while I will install some mods. Every game is better with mods.

Weapon Heat Crosshair. Damage Numbers mod.

That's basically it off the top of my head.

There was a chat notification sound mod. Don't remember if it still works, so not recommending it.

Don't wait too long, stuff like Ammo Percent indicator, SimpleQoL, auto-sprint and Weapon Heat crosshair are basically vanilla features that just haven't been added to the game yet. I wish I had found them immediately as a new player, they are just a straight upgrade to vanilla.
