To be fair, that argument could be extended to any public forum with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ moderators. THANK GOD WE HAVE A GOOD MOD ON THE STEAM FORUMS, PLEASE DWARFURIOUS DON'T BAN ME I SWEAR YOU'RE ONE OF THE COOL MODS!
To me it just seems like Synka wants to start ♥♥♥♥ as usual.
Ya'll already forgotten the "I did nothing" vegan guy? oh yeah, it's them bad mods...
Yet those are the exceptions, not the rule. Vast majority of of the time we end up getting the reason after a bit of back and forth.
But just to be clear, did it have modded content and should've therefore been posted in modded-gallery?
Badges, Mission control's image, text, list goes on.
'Modified' is the base word 'modded' is centered on.
Its not someone's consideration, its a fact.
I can't speak for everyone but what I meant by that, is that the Discord has way too many rules, and they are over stringent and heavy handed about enforcing them; not that no rule was broken.
I was muted once for responding to someone who asked if GTFO and DRG were similar, it was a brief one paragraph description in the general discussion area, answering his question with a summary of some things the two games had in common and a few things they didn't. I was muted for "off topic discussion." (The guy who asked the question oddly enough, was not muted; despite him ostensibly breaking the same rule.)
Was I technically off the topic of DRG? I guess so? That's an extremely rigid and over zealous interpretation of the rule though. It was a general discussion area, which is a broad term, and GTFO is in the same genre as DRG; and we were discussing how the two related to each other; which is itself discussing DRG.
So for future reference, when I say "Certified Discord moment" I mean, the guy prolly did technically break some small rule, if you squint really hard; and interpret the rule in the most stringent way possible lol.
That said, they are essentially a private club, and well within their rights to enforce their rules any way they see fit, if someone doesn't like how they run things they should just avoid going there; which is what I do.
