How do I swap to an account ive used on Xbox for 3 years

Saves do not work across platforms, you'll have to find another way to "carry over" your old progress to your new profile.

Perhaps a save editor mod can do the job

i used the process in this video to move my save from Steam to WIndows so i could play on my xbox with some friends, but it was made for people moving from WIndows to Steam versions of the game. i don't remember if he remidned me to back up my original saves in the video. i assume he said it, and i did it, but if it isn't recommended in the video i'd back them up.
