Orcs must die or Dungeon Defenders II fit your description pretty well (except you don't mine resources in these), though I wouldn't say these games are really that "similar" or especially "exactly like".
Orcs must die 2 and 3 are good games and worth playing especially with a friend, did not play Dungeon Defenders personally so can't say anything about it.
