How to use Necro thermal catalyst?
So necro thermal catalyst on the coil gun is an upgrade that I always wanted to try, but up till now it simply was very rough to pull off, beacuse once a bug was on fire, its basically dead in under a second. Since it only works if you get a kill on a bug while on fire you have a very short window here. Though with the insane new charge speed upgrade, and the rework to this mod it feels much more possible. Though I am curious about how to best go about using it.

For context, the build I want to try it on is a Hurricane gunner with the fire missiles and the clean overclock for a faster ROF, incindiary grenade, and this as my secondary (swapping for volitile bullets bulldog). As for the coilgun itself, I'm unsure if I should go for the clean OC for a longer trail and no downsides, or Hellfire, despite the small nerf. In testing, both guns charge up extremely fast with the improved charge speed, much faster than the 80% rate im used to. (Up to 250% at clean OC and 170% with Hellfire). I'm purely trying it for a change of pace as I always liked the Necrothermal catalyst, but found it really impractical. I know its not as good as Volitile bullets but I wanna give it a shot since its very satisfying!

Anyway, that about sums it up. Any help or tips is appreciated, since i really want to give this mod a shot and try to use it to the best of its abilities.

I've done a single haz 5 mission with ABXXA Backfeeding module and it's pretty good.
Basically, ignite a grunt and instantly swap to the coil gun and do a min charge shot. The grunt will be so low that it will die from a single tap, setting all surrounding enemies on fire. For larger enemies, use it as a discount volatile bullets.

Just don't be stupid like me trying to get max charge shots, because I forgot I didn't have Overcharger. Spam max charge shots off-cooldown instead. Solo haz 5 praetorians die in 2.5 hits when on fire.

So is controlled magnetic flow better than the super fast charge speed? I feel like charge speed would be almost as fast as charging 1 bar with magnetic flow.
