Mineral Trade Daily Deals are ♥♥♥♥.
Most of them ask you to sell rare minerals you have few of and buy minerals you have extra of, why would I sell my jadiz, I know it spawns more since the update but like :stop:

It sure is a good thing the game isn't forcing you to take the daily deal then.

Are they different for everyone? I've had an opposite experience so far.

I mean this doesn't matter to me since I tend to have above 500 of each mineral type so if anything this makes it a quick and easy way to making some money if you need it.

I have most minerals above 10k its not about the quantity just the deal and drop rates of said minerals.

Two things: the deals are probably bad for you because of RNG, not because it was designed to be bad, and

I won't lie, I wish there were multiple options for the daily deal.

Well, compared to normal trade values, they're way better. The whole point is that DRG is greedy and tries to juice you out of all your credits/minerals, the Dwarves' voice lines even reinforce that.

I take it for the lulz anyway. It doesn't matter as long as you don't run dry on anything.

Daily deals have been both ways from what I've seen. Sometimes you need more minerals, sometimes you need more credits. They're trying to mix it up so there's something there for both.

I'm mineral rich but not great in the credits department, so I've made several trades getting credits for minerals, but I've also passed on several minerals for credits deals because I just simply have enough minerals to last me long through the last few cosmetic forges I have to collect.

Can't please everybody every single day.

If you have that many of a mineral type then who the heck cares about how common a mineral type is because once you take mutators like Mineral Mania into account as well as the RNG spawn of Hulli Hoarders you can very easily make the minerals you spent on that daily back pretty damn fast.

You want them to increase the percentage amount of profit you earn from accepting the daily deals? Im not 100% sure but if they decide to do that, I think people can abuse the system to earn more for free.

One mineral of each type in the Mineral Trade Terminal can be bought for 150 credits and sold for 50 credits. Currently as of writing this, my daily deal reads "Buy 117 Umanite, Pay 6,156 credits, 65% Savings". If I were to purchase 117 Umanite manually, it would cost me 17550 credits. The deal allows me to save 11394 credits. Now if I accepted the deal and decided to sell the 117 Umanite I traded, I would lose 306 credits (6156- 5850).

You proposed the idea that the devs should buff the deal; so lets say the new deal reads "Buy 200 Umanite, Pay 6156 credits, -% Savings" What the player can do is that they can accept the deal; purchase 200 Umanite and pay 6156 credits and can sell the same 200 Umanite for 10000 credits. The player earned 3844 credits buy doing absolutely nothing and Deep Rock Galactic will be losing money.

I think this is what I will happen if they buff the daily deals. There is no "principle" involved. At the end of the day you are getting what is advertised; in a way you are earning a profit by accepting the deal. Its just that the devs are forced to cap the amount traded in the daily deals because if they dont, then the player will be able to abuse the system and gain absolute profit at the expense of nothing.

♥♥♥♥♥ please, the only times I needed credits or minerals while first starting the game was when buying weapon and gear upgrades, that took me like 50 player levels?, a really short time.

I never asked for that, I talked about spawn rates of said minerals and why I dont want to sell a mineral with a low spawnrate, because theres no reason for it, besides for a leveling player who needs said rare minerals it would be just dumb to sell these, theres no reason to do so since credits are plentiful, minerals arent compared to credits. I couldnt care less about the "DRG company is greedy lore", why add ♥♥♥♥ in the game if theres no logical reason to use it.

Why complain about this when they also added carrying back dotty's head for actually no reward?

What if it helps new players?

You seem to be mad that the devs added something that didn't give you any benefits. I thought you said you're too rich to care, but your attitude doesn't sound that cool.
