Ghost Ship games had a good idea and ruined it

anyone else notice how there has only been 1 new enemy in the new season and everyone has been saying the new season is the best? Well I think Ghost Ship knew that most people wouldn't play any of the old content when they introduced the idea of disabling old content with season select, but they went ahead and changed it to only encourage old content spawning

anyone else have the same thought as me like i feel crazy being so pissed at added bull krap but the only reason i started playing for season 5 was because i thought i wouldn't have to play industrial sabotage or deal with spitters and stingers all the damn time but no nothing has changed in the slightest

besides being allowed to fight old season content? I wouldn't be so confused if more people liked old seasons but i have never seen 1 video, discussion, or forum or any activity saying they like seasons 1234 especially 4, everyone has been hating on that one especially.

IMO they really needed to implement phazyonite purchases awhile ago.

I wouldn't care if it was DLC or something but this garbage assignment is forever in my game and I cannot get rid of it

That's a heavy exaggeration - I've completed tons of haz5 (and haz5+) Industrial Sabotage missions with random people. There's lots of players out there who are competent and know what they're doing.

People who play Haz 5, don't have anymore issue with IS vs. any other mission type; it's not even a particularly difficult mode?

I don't know what makes you think this, but it hasn't been my experience at all; and I've played a lot of DRG.

it's boring and yes it is difficult when you are alone playing hide and seek with cheesey boss AI and trying to carry 3 people that barely know how to press W

this thread was made during S4 with the (completely misleading and nonfunctional) seasonal toggle, not the current system we have now where you can pick which season you want

but yes, unseasoned should actually mean unseasoned. if i'm picking the "no seasons" mode it's because i don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ want to play with seasonal content, not just reducing its chances to appear. i want it gone entirely

Thus erasing essentially half of the enemy variety the game currently has in the process. I mean, you do you, but that sounds quite boring to me.

so if i pick a rivals season over rockpox, am i "erasing" rockpox because it's not going to spawn as often, and vice versa? or does this only apply to unseasoned for some reason?

I literally just did an IS on H5+, and there were 5 other lobbies, and perhaps 7 more on H5 and H4

I meant as in the case where picking unseasoned would completely prevent seasonal enemies from appearing, like you were saying. That's all rival bots, all rockpox enemies (and all season 4-5 enemies like stingtails and stalkers if you wanna count them) removed from your game.
