Pickaxe part hidden stat bonuses: Is this real?
I found this https://deeprockgalactic.fandom.com/wiki/Pickaxe_Customization and don't know if this is true or not. Please let me know.

fandom in general is a huge dumpster fire of a website and is generally frowned upon for getting fan information, including DRG its very susceptible to taking myths and completely made up theories as fact.
(also really easy to vandalize)

it is not. youre using the fandom wiki which has been abandoned and has become a joke. use the wiki.gg version instead

Yes, you get hidden stats when you equip certain parts.

Axe heads make your pickaxe do chop damage for chopping bugs.
Pick heads make your pickaxe do picking damage for picking terrain.
Pickaxes with electrical parts stun enemies better.
Pommels influence the balance of your pickaxe for better picking or axing.

Red pickaxes strike faster.
Blue/ice pickaxes cool faster.
PIckaxes that match the colour of the environment provide stealth bonuses against bugs with eyes.

I will be sure to use this as a reference when customizing my pickaxe, thanks!

I like that all the the bonuses are written in such a way that no one would be able to prove them wrong

"Oh, you just didn't do the animation cancel correctly!"

"Oh, you just don't notice the 2% brightness, it's very subtle"

also looks like the site was recently vandalized too, the logo says "deep ♥♥♥♥ galactic"
and i think the septic spitter page is something silly

This is the kind of infantile vandalism the world needs.

He's lying to you.

This is the only way to customise your pickaxe and there is no "hidden stats".

This person is wrong. We all know that red items are faster than other colours, like bikes for example. Therefore a red pickaxe is faster than a black pickaxe.

Yellow pickaxe is electric, blue cools faster, green is more effective against plants. It's common sense.

Can you not spread misinformation we already have a whole wiki doing it

This is the truth, it is not widely known but it has been data mined to work like this.
It's only small difference though.

Sacrificing Scout to the Dark Gods allows you spin gacha of doom.

Once you hit level 1,000 you get a secret terminal where you can spend Error Cubes to ruin the RNG of other players in your lobby, us Greybeards do this to new players, ensuring they will get OC's for only the classes they hate; as a strategy to keep you hooked on playing DRG.
