Anniversary Hats?

These are the hats fitted with the numbers 1, 2, etc. How do I acquire these hats as I really like them!

You can acquire the next one, but not the old ones.

You have to be present for the anniversary celebration to get them.

Unfortunately chibbity is right.

The closest thing we may ever see to being able to get the old hats, would be for someone to make a mod that changes (x) hats into having the models for the anniversary hats (although this wouldn't show up correctly to others unless they also had the mod).

It does seem a bit silly to give them out again since they correspond to a point in time which can't happen again (1st, 2nd, and 3rd anniversaries of the game)

However, there already was a time when they were given out again. I think it was May 2020 when the game left early access and fully released. You could collect all the old limited hats.

So, theoretically, they could be released again. Most likely at an absolutely incredible milestone (10 mil users? or the final season?)

They actually said during the 3rd Anniversary that they have no plans to release the old Anniversary hats. They were for people that were there actually there for those specific events. Christmas and Halloween happen every year. DRG only had those anniversaries each once. I'd like some of the old ones as well, but I'm quite content with them being limited to those that participated in the events themselves.

As far as giving them out again at the 1.0 release. I literally started playing at the 1.0 release (that week) and I don't remember those hats being mentioned or given out at all (but I may have started a day or two after the "official" 1.0 release). They also said that they have no plans to distribute the Oktoberfest hat again either since they never intend to rerun the event.

I dunno if it falls under promoting cheating but there are other ways to get them. But officially it looks like you cant earn them in foreseeable time.

I started playing a few months before 1.0, and I did get the 1st and 2nd anniversary hats from full release
