Why is the antivirus blocking this FSD-Win64-Shipping.exe?

Every time I start the game, the AV stops the game and asks to block it because it would be a threat.

The AV reports it to be an IDP.GENERIC.

Because you have a crap anti virus.. stick with Windows Security and you won't get these issues.

Fyi: You've not needed to use a third party AV since it became Windows Security, it's not Windows Defender anymore.
Just use uBlock for internet security to avoid malicious links, it doesn't conflict with Win Sec.

The recent update caused several anti-virus programs to falsely flag DRG's .exe.

This is an issue with said anti-virus programs though, and not DRG itself.
