If you want full lobbies and quick game starts, you're prolly better off sticking to Verified.
I could probably make an LFG post, but it's not like I want to randomly friend Steam users just to play, y'know? That's why I like public lobbies so much, because it's just no hassle to do.
The problem is that the odds of you finding 3 other people who share your exact same tastes in mods and what constitutes fun; are slim to none.
if you want to run approved/sandbox mods you need to get MINT
I'm pretty sure it forces the MODDED tag into you lobby title, to be fair.
If someone can confirm wether it forces a modded tag or not when using bigger mods, that would be appreciated. i fear something like 40 nitra resups might not.
You would not be "downloading" their mods if they had something that required a download, more than likely your game would just crash if necessary assets were missing
my concern is mods such as 40 nitra resupply
your lobby title is forcibly appended as "[MODDED]" regardless of what mods you use when running MINT, even if you only run verified mods. there is no way to circumvent this
most approved mods also don't work as a client because MINT doesn't have the capacity to force your mods onto the host. of course there are exceptions, but they are an extremely small minority
believe it or not, MINT users are not out to "trick" you into joining their modded lobbies, they just want a form of modding that actually works properly and isn't plagued with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
i've had a friend check this and my lobby was definitely not marked as modded
then i don't know what to tell you. unless you mean MINT lobbies aren't segregated in the way official integration does to lobbies with approved/sandbox mods, in which case that's intentional
