Wireless connections are prone to interference which leads to packet loss, which leads to unstable connections, which leads to you loosing the connection to the server. Not to mention that you share a connection with others to the same uplink, so CSMA/CA plays a role as well.
So it wouldn't matter if it's P2P or a dedicated server.
Get a stable wired connection and you will have a better experience.
And I don't want to deal with some always online crap either.
Sick of being unable to play HD2 every time there's steam maintenance or their servers die because they screw up an update.
Valve admittedly have more resources than GSG. A lot more.
