Nonetheless, the idea is still worth implementing.
I just checked on youtube and yeah there's a little music when it's unlocked. Do you know if everyone in the lobby hears this music, even if they're far away ?
Everyone in the lobby hears it, regardless of their position.
BUT : I double-checked, and it isn't displayed on the screen when I use the scanner (like the supply pods for instance). I'll check again next time I find one, but I'm pretty sure there was nothing.
Besides, I didn't hear the music (I play with music off, but I was hoping that this kind of important musical bit would be considered as a sound effect, like the bipping).
So I'd better see them when they're discovered by someone else in the team :D
As far as the sound goes I'm not sure if turning the music off won't play the sound but I know during some types of tracks (like once you start the refinery mission objective) the sound doesn't seem to play over it.
Next time I'll triple-check :)
