Scout needs his vitamin C4

And Scout 's off to the bugs heaven!

It's funny when it actually happens accidentally, but when the Scout gets intentionally C4'd "for the meme", I'm just sitting there like:

i hate those memeheads that are just sabotaging wasting resources
accidental all okay

Unintentional c4'ing of the scout is always funnier than intentional c4'ing the scout. Huge red pulsing "don't go here" bubble in that area? Nonsense.
Time and again they have decide nope I must grapple through this place at the exact moment it is going to go off.

Scouts. The - I MUST be two inches from entering the enemy's very butthole at all times or it simply is not "flanking" them at all - class.

I've blown up my fair share of other players (and got blown up quite a bit in return), but I don't do it intentionally because that's just poor. I do however retaliate against those rare instances of players teamkilling because that's even worse.
Frisky May 30, 2024 @ 5:36pm
the original joke was actually driller being clumsy and C4'ing the scout by accident, kind of playing off both the dwarves unprofessionalism and actual in game players frequently being clumsy with their explosives and hitting the on the move scout often

unfortunately the meme degraded into "lol teamkill funne, should do" through I guess some deranged game of telephone leaving us with the significantly less funny (and more intentionally run into the ground) thing we have now

In all honesty, dwarves aren't made to fly like he does, fall from such heights, have such a high-pitched voice, and all that. And so this has led to my hypothesis that he's actually five or six gnomes in a suit. Two for the legs, two for the arms, a fat one for the torso, and maybe one for the head, but scouts really don't like being studied and so we cannot confirm that. Nevertheless, whatever Scout may be, he's probably not a dwarf proper and so in DSHA (Dwarf Safety and Health Administration) code 2042.521a and b is written the following...

2042.521(a) The standards prescribed in 2042.521 apply to non-dwarf employees, Scouts, hired by DRG for manual unpaid labour in Hoxxes IV for Mining, Construction, Demolition, and Harvesting of Natural Resources.

2042.521(a)(1)Failure to Comply to Company Standards. Each Scout must follow the Scout Code of Conduct that they agree to on joining Deep Rock Galactic. Failure to comply may result in, and DRG is not liable for, the following:
-Alcohol toxicity
-Insults
-Danger
-Darkness

2042.521(b) Damage to Scout

2042.521(b)(1)Each Scout is hereby liable and responsible for their own safety - and DRG retracts all responsibility - from the following:
-Exploding
-Terminal or otherwise harmful contraction of the disease "Fallitis"
-Freezing
-Liquefying via harmful chemicals or other hazards
-Sublimation
-Rapid oxidation
-Crushing
-Rapid lead poisoning
-Microwaving
-Irradiation
Note: These hazards may arise from non-Scout DRG employees, "DWARVES", and DRG hereby waives all liability for the actions of DWARVES that may pose threats, harm, or even death, to Scout.

this is why when i play scout i have no qualms about disturbing multiple swarmer nests and guiding the little horde to the team.
eMercody May 30, 2024 @ 7:30pm
Generally speaking, a scout is supposed to guide the hoard to teammates better equipped to handle them, and save his ammo for more important things.

Are you trying to tell me c4 has other uses?
