How much FPS does DRG give on laptops?

Those who play on laptops, please write how much FPS the game gives when playing with four players? I'm planning to buy a laptop with an RTX 3060 or RTX 3070 graphics card and want to understand what I can expect and how demanding the game is at maximum Full HD settings. Thanks a lot.

At least 120 I guess? CPU is the most important component here for FPS though, not the GPU.

GTX 1070. High quality. 70+ FPS when in a mission. The only time it drops to 40-50 is on the space rig, which has unusually dense polycount depending on where you look (though I was running an android emulator and chrome in the background, so those numbers may be slightly higher).

DRG is Fromsoft-tier graphics specs and not very demanding and can run high quality on a potato and not miss much. Most likely due to the low/mid-poly style.

mine gives like 200 to high 300 usually. Deeprock is probably one of the least demanding games i've played

Season 5 comes with numerous small optimizations done that will help with better performance.

I have personally noticed my fps does not drop under 30, as a GT 1030 user.

I’d say don’t buy a gaming laptop. The portability isn’t worth the lower performance and other issues that come with laptops lol.

I haven’t used a steam deck, but if portability is what you need, then I feel like you’d be better off with something like that.

Yeah I'm on a 1080 and the game stays around 130-150 FPS on medium settings and 1080p, so surely a gaming laptop with a 3000 series chip could handle it no probs

Gaming laptop...more like expensive lap heater.

Unless you absolutely need the portability, always go for a desktop when it comes to gaming.

I'm on a Lenovo Legion:
- Intel Core i7 13th gen @2.10Ghz
- 16 GB memory.
- RTX 4060 GPU.
- 144 Hz monitor refresh rate.

Game runs at a smooth 120+ FPS (capped). Occasionally dips every now and then during huge swarms and when particles are flying everywhere, but no big deal.

Gtx 960m with an i7-6700HQ here
1080p low settings, capped 60 fps most times, drops to 40 with lots of enemies
I'd say you're way more than fine with with 3060

Yeah, gaming laptops get hot desktop pcs dont at least not as easily

don't buy a gaming laptop, invest that money into a desktop and you'll get significantly stronger components that wont kill themselves with heat buildup in the process
