the point in using that reaction, is to show support for russia. it was the only letter reaction that was made. the rest were flags and such. And, GSG is in Denmark. They are pretty sure they will need more defense spending if russia succeeds in Ukraine. so are you surprised they are sensitive to displays of support for the invasion?
and see, these are things I know because I pay attention to things that happen outside the US borders. because, and i hit on this earlier: everything is political. politics affects your life every day.

Even if the Russian's DID claim it as support for their cause, think about it: They are using Naps to try to get people's blood pumping. Who gives a ♥♥♥♥ what they think? Only people supporting Russia would actually recognize it as their symbol.
To everyone else, it's time to sleep. Most people in the world need sleep. They aren't affected by anything Russia says or does. They will continue to treat this as someone snoring.

You know how Discord Reactions work, you can trail on with other people's reaction, which is the simply choice many people will brainlessly click.
I've seen some bans where the people were vague about why they got banned or clearly didn't want to say what they got banned for before... but this is gross, particularly when the expression has a clear meaning and Russia has nothing to do with this game. You really have to stretch to believe this ban is justified, no matter what you can prove.
But... that's Discord. I wish they would just stop using it, it's almost always a source of drama and disturbing behavior... rarely have I seen where Discord did anything positive.

yes. russian civilians, and others who support the invitation, have acknowledged that they are using Z to signal support for the russian invasion. its also been painted on their tanks (tanks, if memory serves. but it was war machines regardless).

Public Discords in a nutshell. Public Discord Admins are just a sidegrade to being a Reddit Admin. The same song and a dance on a different platform. Except this time it comes with the perk of being able to watch other people stream themselves touching grass for the admins instead of being told to go touch it.
again: the devs are in Denmark. and Theyve increased their defense spending over the next 4 years to deal with a further russian invasion if they succeed in Ukraine.
it makes perfect sense they would be sensitive to shows of support for russian in their discord.
people like reacting to exciting announcements. and seeing others reactions as well. that doesnt mean all reactions are innocent.
