What is a tritilyte deposit?
I was doing the spec ops industrial sabotage mission when I came across some weird crystal thing. When I use the pointer-thing it says it is a "tritilyte deposit". There is also some circles nearby, what is this?

So when you reach level 25 for a character, you can promote them and when you do, you gain access to a key, this key will activate this and other events and if you succeed will allow you to put in a blank core and create an overclocked for a randomly selected weapon.

1 of the 4 types of Machine events, can be unlocked once you have 1 promoted dwarf in solo or anyone else in a team who are promoted if you are unpromoted. Only need to promote 1 dwarf to unlock it for all classes

For Tritilyte deposits, a bomb dispenser will be dropped near it and you need to take bombs and throw them at the deposit to destroy it and complete the objective (think of it as a hacking pod but you need to throw the nodes onto/near the deposit)

Adding on to this, the landing location of the bomb dispenser might be very high up or down in the cave, or in a nearby tunnel or room which might be closed off, so for this event it can be worthwhile to check the surrounding area and, in case, prepare a route to any hard-to-reach location beforehand, if the situation allows it.

Yeah I basically don't bother with the deposit event if I'm playing solo unless I happen to be playing Driller. Gotta love the bomb dispenser coming down in a tunnel that's halfway back up to the starting point or something.

Its always worth trying, you get like 2200 xp for just failing it. Even solo if you don't think you can do it just turn it on and walk away from it and let the the time run out.

You miss all the shots you don't take.

Considering there's rarely ever a level that doesn't have a machine event somewhere, it's really not a big deal lol.

Math disagrees with you.

Regardless of the bug ( think it is one, at least ) where even failed events still give xp, it's usually far from impossible to complete the Tritilyte event even solo.

It just requires some more preparation in advance. I do like its challenge potential.

Interesting. Maybe I just have RNGesus' favor in this game? I see machine events in nearly EVERY single round I play.

WOW I am nowhere close to that. I am pretty low level, so I didn't know about this. Thanks.
