I wish DRG had emotes like Helldivers 2.

The rock and stone was cool at first but after Helldivers 2 came out I'm starting to see how old this game is. I think the devs should add some sort of emote wheel to catch up with these newer games. Will they ever add it to this game or is DRG abondonware at this point?

And the game does not really need emotes. They are rather gimmicky and don't really add to the gameplay. RnS is enough for me.

people won't even come in for the hug emote in HD2. Stood in from of their hellpod as the only way somebody will do it and even then im sure its because they tried to get in their hellpod instead of interact with me.

The last place you ever want to stand is infront of your team mate, facing them. I don't even look at my fellow dwarfs, like, ever. As long as we're getting the job done, we can have a beer and cheers emote and dance with each other on the space rig after. That's more than enough imo.

I dunno, having the salute is enough for me.

Just having 1 "emote" that's associated with anything funny/good seems better than a whole wheel of them.

I do find the Helldiver hug cute tho.

Noobs don't ready check, which takes, what, three keystrokes if you're not doing it with pings? Adding a way to do it through emotes would likely be useless.
It would not hurt the game, so if people feel it's necessary, why not, but I don't think most would actually use them as much as you'd want, if at all.
