While I don't Truly HATE Industrial Sabotage, Realistically I would only Play It 3-4 Times a Year- Instead, Like You, it often gets Forced on Me with Assignments, more than I ever want
to Play It, so I don't HATE Sabotage, but I am ANNOYED everytime it's Forced on Me-
I Truly HATE Lithophage, but I can wait that out and Avoid ever having to do any more of those, Not So when Sabotage comes up on an Assignment Chain
Sadly, this is All I can come up with- When it Happens to Me, I Puss Out, Set It to Haz 1,
and just Grind Through a Sabotage Mission as Fast as I Can, and it STILL usually Slogs a Bit,
as the Two Tunnels to the Power Relays can be Long and Convoluted at Times- There have been quite a few occasions where Solo at Least, I've either thought 'F This, I'm playing a Mining Mission Instead' and then Stop Playing DRG for the Day or just 'F This' and Ending
My Game Session 30 to 90 Minutes Earlier than I would have, probably would have Played
1-2 More Missions otherwise, but I just don't want the Hassle of Sabotage
But that's Solo- With a Team Sabotage Isn't as Bad, but even then
sometimes I'll still Skip Out and End My Session Regardless
Shame there's not a variant of it with 1 hack, I think that would help it not feel like a slog to some.
I hate connecting those "cyber-egg" thingy especially if the terrain is so jaggy and vertical, it slowed me because the process of doing it is slow! and i have to do it 2 times before i face that stupid upside-down-pyramid boss. I often quit DRG when this pops up and try to recollecting my will to play again. i wish there's mod or even cheat that i can skip those hacking process and straight fight the boss.. in haz1.
On site refining or length 3 mining are way more annoying if you have limited time.
Is the mission itself bad ? No.
Is it always the exact same, way too long and not worth playing anymore after the first 50 times ? Yes.
They should've kept it as a rare mission that you can do every now and then if you really feel like playing it, as a choice. It should never ever be a requirement for anything.
If it is by your and those people half of the game content would be removed.
Its hilarious how you never see that. Same with Rockpox, same with Rivals, same with escort, same with anything.
Its just an underhand trick to argument into "just give us all options" and when you get the power to do what you want you cry about inconsistant gameplay and lack of content because you avoid half the game.
This does not mean you have to enjoy every addition to the game, but come on this is just low key whining because the game has something in it you dont like. I never liked egghunt and do you see me whining?
that sure is a lot of projection.
how dare people have likes and dislikes,
i think i found the management spy.
this
i dont like elim missions espc when i had to do them for promos. but i didnt whine about it either. either run haz 1 or find a good team and get it done.
after 4000 promos, i think i had pretty good reason to b*tch
The mission type is better fit for more challenging content types such as elite deep dives and campaign assignments.
I'm confident that they won't revert this change because even after all the crying they opted out to nerf the mission type & entire enemy faction rather than frequency at which players are exposed to it.
TL;DR
It is what it is, you could use https://mod.io/g/drg/m/all-biomes-more-missions because it wasn't made to include industrial sabotage and consequently it will force the game to boot the mission type from promotion assignments. It's a bit outdated but still works last time I checked.
