Machine Event - Can't Infuse Matrix Core (Promoted, Silver II, 21 Cores Available ATTOW)

Joined my friend on the Space Rig and started a Haz 5 mission. I didn’t have any issues during the session, no network errors or disconnects. We had two others join us. We had an Omen event, which we made quick work of.

Once the Omen was destroyed and we went to the Core Infuser to get our reward, there was only one slot open. This is the second time I have had this happen in less than a weeks’ time and I’ve never had any issues like this before. Does anyone know what’s going on? I’m at the point in the game where I’m focusing on collecting all the cosmetics (I got all the weapon overclocks already) so it really bums me out when I’m denied an infused core because the infuser doesn’t have a slot available for seemingly no reason.

Appreciate any help regarding this.

You need to reach level 25 with a dwarf, promote said dwarf, then you can start earning blank matrix cores. Once you have one of those you can use it at the core infuser like in your screenshots.

Check the border of his character icon.

Both screen shots shows that the pedestal obstructed.

It can bug out, even tho it looks like they are working. Before you start the event, you have to be sure it isnt blocked by anything.

also, you had a blank core correct?

the core infuser can bug out its interaction placement sometimes I noticed it most commonly with OMEN towers

check the surrounding area, mainly on top of where the omen tower once was and you'll usually find the actual infuser intractable there where you can then infuse your cores

if I had to guess (assuming the bug I mentioned is whats going on which i feel is the case because the core infusion panels are clearly not there in the screencaps) the bug might not affect the host

did your buddies get their cores converted?

looks like you dont have a blank core because the terminal didnt fold out to accept it.

Like I stated in the title, I have 21 blank cores.
The second pedestal was not obstructed and although I didn't capture it in the screenshot (unfortunately), only one terminal slot was folded out and I could not use it, but my friend could. The other two that were with us, I would assume by their level, have probably already unlocked everything. The pedestal in the first screenshot had two slots folded out, neither of which I could use. In both cases, the light still beamed up from the pedestals.

Interesting and frustrating if true. I think the first time it happen was with a Kursite Grinder, the second time was an Omen. I might ask about this on their Discord as well.
