If entire team goes down, then you do lose everything mined and get a laughable tiny amount of resources.
PvP/PvE is a separate configuration that doesn't define or alter the genre. Extraction shooters can be both PvE and PvP.
DRG appears on all the "best extraction shooters" lists I could find.
In an extraction shooter you. loose the progres of the character that die during the mission, not in DRG.
DRG isnt that. while you do get stuff in the mission, which you can sell, those are only basic materials you use to buy upgrades
its a lot closer to the more conventianal PVE shooters like Payday or warframe
Clearly it's a Mario clone - vertically challenged characters consume mushrooms and kill carnivorous plants and fauna. I'm just glad those lawyers haven't sued DRG yet 🤐
