What does "mouse smoothing" option do in settings?
Asking.

Never use mouse smoothing, in any game; ever.

This is PC gaming 101.

While you're at it, turn on Nvidia reflex in DRGs options if it's supported by your card; will give you the most responsive mouse movement.

"Mouse smoothing is the interpolation of raw input data from the mouse in order to prevent jerky movement in low resolution mice."

It was made back in the day when you had ball-mice that had "low DPI". If you google mouse smoothing images it should give general idea. It might look pretty in pics, but its not "accurate". No clue why its still used.

It is not mouse smoothing you have to worry about it is acceleration, if you are a gamer that should be disabled in the operating system mouse settings. A couple different terms may be used to describe it.

Well yeah, acceleration is bad as well; but so is smoothing.

You want the rawest mouse input you can get.
