If I'm hosting and both primary and secondary are done and I type "R?" you have about 15 seconds to object or we're bolting. Outside of voice communication it's the quickest most efficient way to get team consensus on ending the mission.
Used in lots of games as a short hand way of saying lets go, or lets begin the "boss fight" Or start the Teleporter event (RoR2)
I was just being lazy when responding to people asking if we were ready in full sentences. Didn't know it was thing in other games but not surprised. Ever tried to read the forums of an mmo/rts you aren't familiar with? Like deciphering a cryptic message
