That simply doesn't work
Jokes aside. But no seriously this works for me every time. I either walk up to the thing and an "E" prompt appears or I walk to the corrupted ground and the same things happens. The only time when it does not is when someone already called the pod somewhere else.
I mean, so they just sit there doing nothing the entire time?
If I didnāt wanna bother, Iād probably let everyone else do it.

I mean you implied itās because they didnāt wanna deal with the corrupter.
They couldnāt do anything else because if they shot their guns or did anything else it get rid of the menu and someone else could call in the pod.
Yeah you can but anyone can walk up to it and call a pod so if OP couldnāt then they had to be sitting there in the menu the entire time.
Could be that the pod had already been called down elsewhere, since the corruptor can move around quite a bit.
