Deep Rock Galactic
Help with launching using SteamPlay
OK, I'm an extreme beginner with Linux, so I apologize ahead of time for my ignorance. But I'm hoping to play Deep Rock Galactic using SteamPlay. I have several versions of Proton downloaded, and seem to get the closest to it launching when using version 4.2-9, but I get an error message saying "DX11 feature level 10 is required to run the engine." I've looked around on some forums and get the idea that I might need to install some additional drivers but am pretty clueless as to how to make that happen.
Is it possible my hardware is incompatible? I'm using a System76 Lemur laptop running ubuntu 16.04 LTS
processor specs: Intel® Core™ i3-7100U CPU @ 2.40GHz × 4
graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 620 (Kaby Lake GT2)

any help or insight would be greatly appreciated <3

I don't think you're supposed to put
%command%
more than once, and the
YXZ=n
statements should come before it. (just as when you're overriding env vars for a linux command)

I don't own that game yet but I've had to manage that kind of issue before.
For DX > 9 through proton, if not falling back to PROTON_USE_WINED3D, your display drivers should support Vulkan.
You usually need to explicitly install Vulkan-compatible drivers and there are several threads about that.
You mention intel graphics and nothing else, but if your laptop has optimus graphics (intel + nvidia) there are some specifities to it (like, only intel the Vulkan-compatible NVidia)
