Find the failure in this system.
Its just artwork.
Well to be fair, the devs don't have a problem with any of it, they are merely conforming to the many different rating systems of many different countries; so that the game can sell well.
Gunner with a Cigar in the Game, just as character/artwork- I'd guess it's mostly a US hangup, but maybe the UK and some European Countries have some protective policies as well
However you Look at it, Video Games have always and will always have an attached
"They're mostly for Kids" assumption attached to them, it's been that way since the early 80's- Even though nowadays statistically more Adults play Games than Kids, and there are clearly Games made mostly for Adults, and Games made mostly for Kids- It's Like Movies really, there are always going to be "For All Ages" Games that will appeal to 12-70 year olds, that to be for "Everyone" will encompass a good amount of players under the age of 18,
so Puritanical, "Protective" Minded People will always insist on certain restrictions- Nudity, Language, and Depictions of Smoking are always included in those Restrictions, even though there are sometimes many more Adults playing certain Games than Kids/Teenagers, Teenagers certainly have always been aware about all the "Bad Things", and It's usually the Teenagers who are the Biggest Culprits when it comes to Texting, Chatting, or Shouting on Mics Insulting, Homophopic, or Racist Things- Still though, there are always going to be those people who are always going to be Like Helen Lovejoy from 'The Simpsons', insisting we always
"Think Of the Children"- Not totally a bad thing either, it just gets tiresome as an Adult
to have certain issues Restricted because a Game is made to appeal to a Broad Audience,
and "Innocent" Kids are included in it
DRG also has to have the Alcohol/Drinking Warning, as obviously the Dwarves can get Drunk and can even Pass Out- But even there the Devs have been careful, NONE of the Drinks are actually Real-World Alcoholic, even reading the Descriptions they are all Made-Up "Brews" of Imaginary Alien Brewing Ingredients, that do get the Dwarves Intoxicated, but can't be Tied to DRG or GSG as promoting Actual Alcohol Use of Real World Products
But for Me, I'm going to now make myself a Rum and Coke,
Smoke a Bowl, and go Play some DRG
F^%# Yeah
Rock and Stone
Problem solved
