DLC tierlist.

[Sally the Wendigo]

Now, the title is kind of a lie. This will not be a tier list, instead I will list each (armor only) DLC and tell you what it's best at!

Robot Rebellion: Compatibility Award: This DLC wins the Compatibility Award, for being the best DLC to pair up with other cosmetics. This game has a lot of War and Battle-scarred cosmetics and hats, which fit perfectly with the body armor you get from this DLC, so if you want to make a bunch of loadouts out of one DLC, this one's for you.

Roughneck: Funny Award:
This DLC wins the Funny Award. Like the name suggests, this DLC is funny, so you wanna make some crazy ass ♥♥♥♥, this one's for you.

Biohazard: Experimentation Award:
This DLC wins the Experimentation Award, because this is the first and only Body armor in the game with animated parts (not jiggly-bones, but actual animated parts), as well as always light-in-the-dark parts on both Body and Helmet, not paint dependant. Also, the Gas-Mask is amazing and can be applied anywhere, it's amazing. So if you want something new and unique, this DLC is for you.

Dawn of the Dread: Stand-alone Award:
I know many will disagree, but I believe that if you plan to use only the DLC items and not any other ingame items, thus DLC is the best choices, since it looks beautiful, but unfortunately not very compatible with other cosmetics. So if you want something cool without any outside factors, this DLC is for you.

Dark Future: Edgy Award:
If you want to look like a cool mech or a super soldier kinda character, this DLC is for you.

Even if it ain't serious... it's probably the best looking suit for engy.

The Biohazard armor really goes well with most paintjob, and if you want your armor/weapon to look like war torn then Robot Rebellion's paintjob is the best choice imo

I wear the sets depending on mission type, most of the time unless I am bored.

Biohazard/Decontaminator: lithophage.
Dark Future/Megacorp: escort.
Robot Rebellion/Rival Tech: sabotage.
Roughneck/Builder's Choice: refining.
DotD/Glyphid Trophy: elimination.
Scale Brigade: deep dives.

all of my dwarfs have atleast something like that in one of their loadouts to look like the combine from half-life 2/alyx

granted this loadout doesn't look as good as it does now because they ruined corrupted rebreather

also this is the only time I've ever gotten dark future armor paint to look good to me

roughneck is peak DRG. it is the perfect DLC, it matches the style of the game perfectly. it's just phenomenal. there simply is no rival to it

Roughneck has the coolest armor imo.

Robot Rebellion has some of the best weapon textures. I like the armor too.

Bio-hazard is good for the RP.
