A DRG animated tv show would honestly be sick
If the ip is given to the right studio I think a DRG animated series would go hard

Ikr? Lol remember that one time they made League of Legends: Arcane? Or The Last of Us? Yeah, those always go well
The last of Us show was actually decent though. Only real gripe is the ending should've been more of a slow burn. Should've followed Joel through the entire hospital sequence, instead of being more of a montage.
Well, I was being sarcastic but yes. Both Arcane and TLOU tv shows are really good

What did you guys think of the ending? I have mixed feelings...
I didn't expect it, but personally think it's fitting with the overall gloomy tone of the movie; it's a neutral one, too, in a sense, and some times that's for the better.

I'd still wish to see more dwarven stories from that world, though.

On a side note, since we mentioned Tartakovsky, let's not forget about the beautiful Star Wars: Clone Wars mini series from 2003!

It would depend. What would be the plot of the show? Just a dull plot of a few dwarven miners trying to make their life? Maybe some plot twists about the team here and there? It might be good with the best writers available but even then, the plot would be thin, as DRG offers no big depth to it in terms of lore. You are just a dwarf doing his job.

"rnd needs you to collect some eggs. dont ask why." that one throwaway line has a lot of potential in terms of lore. who are the miners really working for? and if you dont want to go that deep, im sure you can make a compelling character driven story with what little lore you are given. like you can focus on the brotherhood between the miners, which has so much potential for an amazing story since brotherly love is a theme i see very rarely in films or tv shows nowadays.

Not everything needs huge plots...

You can leave things vague or simple.

You ever seen Mr. Bean? Johnny English? Johnny English 2?

There's enough lore to make for a uncovering something on Hoxxes, escaping Hoxxes, amogus on the space rig, taking down rival tech...

Would making it deep help the theme or subject of the story in any way? Is it necerary to achieve what you want your story to be? What do you want from your story?

And you can just add more lore, it's not needed in the game, but if it's needed for people to know that rival tech is run by elfs (I think it's better to keep it secret), then you just say it's run by elfs.
