Crossplay is never gonna happen, not feasible.
Well, not with an attitude like that in won't.
DRG is a P2P game, it relies on each platforms backend for all online services; those back ends are not compatible with eachother. Furthermore the console versions and the Windows store versions are different, they have simpler cave generation; and other various minor changes.
Crossplay is never gonna happen, the game simply isn't capable of it.
Also, most of us don't want crossplay, we'd have to downgrade to their version, and we'd have to wait longer for updates; so it's not even desirable in the first place. We average 20ish k players here on Steam so it's not like we need them for that either lol.
Ah. Perhaps I should elaborate on what I mean by crossplay. The ability for PCVR players to play with flatscreen PC players. I don't care about those console chumps, didn't even know DRG was on console).
I have edited my original post to avoid further confusion
Oh, fair enough; but the mod is Verified....so it does have crossplay?

Yes, it is now a Verified mod; which means you can use it in any lobby.
Good to know, I revisit this. BUT Native support would still be preferable.
