If you have tried all of the mission types and you don't find any of the objectives fun, then it just might not be for you. I'd encourage you to do some 4 player haz 4 at least before calling it quits though.
Can I do haz 4 at level 1, and will other players be accepting of that? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it going further or refunding, and I've already got 77 minutes in the game.
EDIT: Also, have you tried all the dwarves? Some classes appeal to different people. Scout's my favorite but he might not be yours. Make sure to try all four of em.
DRG frontloads the bulk of its fun with most content being available pretty early on, so it's not going to get much better other than overclocks opening entirely new different weapon playstyles. But what's the point if the core game doesn't hook you, yknow?
So if you find the game slow, bump it up to Haz4.
And, in my opinion, the higher hazard levels are more fun, it's the intensity, the uncertainty while trying to work together that give the game it's thrill :D
Don't do mining expeditions.
Do multiplayer.
If play low hazards = boring.
or you get lost and can't figure out where the last egg rolled off to.
or ya die. one of them. but yeah, if you're looking for a game not centered around mining things, a game about dwarf miners in space might be a poor choice.
