Also keep an eye on temps and loads while playing, i don't know the graphic settings you are using but "roughly 120 fps" sounds sub-optimal for your system.
Try running the game in DX11 or 12 (depending on the one you are using now just to see what happen)
Some basic troubleshooting you can try is verifying the game files. If that doesn't help you can do a clean reinstall of the game. Go to Steam > Steamapps > Common > Deep Rock Galactic > FSD > Saved > SaveGames and backup your saves. Then uninstall the game, deleting the Deep Rock Galactic folder. Then reinstall.

It is one of my more favorite things to try because it is easy. 😎👌
If your seeing a noticeable decrease in FPS in all games, this could indicate a different issue. The first thing to try in that case would be to run a malware scan on a scanner that is rated high for detecting malware. Some virus scanners aren't the best for malware so do some research online to see what areas your virus scanner is good in, as many are poor for malware detection.
As far as DRG does, nvidia ansel is known to cause fps issues in the community so you could look into disabling that. There's also DLSS and FSR support in game.
