Using nukes in DRG isn't too hard: watch your aim, adjust for the shortened range, watch out for other players, and don't waste your limited ammo.
Nukes can wipe out swarms and do a lot of damage to heavy bugs, along with providing area denial. Using nukes for mining can be quite useful for mass mining in the event that drillers or scouts are unavailable. Nuke mining can get the job done fast if you are cleaning up the remains from a crassus kill.
unfortunately VIM on the shard exists which is infinitely better than fat boy could ever hope to be because it's also a very effective form of area denial which doesn't require you to gimp your secondary for the privilege
Pair big AoE fire grenade PGL with about 11 shots and use a high damage single target primary, executioner Lok-1 for example. 1 Grenade in the swarm and take out the surviving big bugs with the lok-1, works like a charm and the ammo efficiency is amazing. Took out most bugs of my team and had to use the least resups.
As long as you're not on radioactive exclusion zone, that is. It sucks there. Very sad times.
