Having a blast. Just watch some tips video on youtube and you'll be good, and also read the miner's manual to learn all the objectives.
You can have fun as a new player. I hesitate to call it beginner friendly, but it's not bad.
I takes some games to find out how it works if you didn't get that from those videos or the in-game manual. I think especially with the navigation map tool.
No need to worry :)
Basicly h1 is "never played a shooter and i'm scared" or simply don't want to fight at all.
h2 is tutorial.
h3 is normal.
h4 is somewhat difficult.
h5 is difficult.
h modded is very difficult.
Playerwise, there are some players/hosts best avoided, mainly with bossy titles or absurd level requirements. Most lobbies are rather silent and unless you ♥♥♥♥ up things, few will bother you.
The game lenght allows for some easy and quick runs, beeing on avg 25min.
All you got to do is shoot bugs and watch your team (AKA: Learn). Don't fall for the Scout trap.
Gotta agree you shouldn't take scout first. Gunner and driller are pretty beginner friendly, you could also take engineer as I did, he isn't THAT hard to learn.
Most common mistakes i see is using your HE pgl rounds as if they were AP and forgetting to put platforms.
Haz1 is even doable by my 6 year old year ago.
