Everything a ♥♥♥♥ except lead storm
if I wanted good AoE damage I'd play driller instead

I like minigun the most because of its sustained volley of fire and good accuracy. Burning Hell is my favorite oveclock for it.

Minigun.

Thunder Cannon is good for multi target damage.

Minigun is good for single target damage.

Hurricane is a mix of both single target and multi target (depending on how you build it).

If gunner consistently gets 1/2 driller kills and 1/4 engineer kills then how ♥♥♥ you insist you can "play the way you wanna play". Lol, lmao.
Accept your role as a glorified team medic and bring a hitscan gun that's guranteed to kill your team quickly if they fail to live up to expectations.

Good thing kill counts are meaningless, and Driller/Engi only top them because of trash mobs like Swarmers.

Gunner deals more total damage than any other class, except maybe Driller at close range in ideal circumstances; and that's actually a relevant metric.

Oh, well, I don't play with the mod that shows the hidden important stats often
Kills it is :^)

And if playing sweaty arena shooters has taught me anything kills and damage dealt tend to be directly proportional

Well, that's really not the case in DRG; since both a Swarmer and a Dreadnought are worth 1 kill.

True, you don't typically see a x100 fold HP variation in PVP. And they count overkill damage too.

No it's true, with 100 spawn health it's safe to assume 100 frags is at least 10k damage. In a game where health varies between 12 and literally over 9000, it's less clear cut, but still proportional.

Oh I feel dumb now, of course it's inversely proportional.
