What DLCs are important?

Sup everyone! Heared a lot about this game and watched some videos on YT. Thinking about next game to play with my friends.

My question: is Vanilla version enough to enjoy the game fully? Or is there a must have complect of DLC for the best experience?

The base game has all gameplay content, and keeps getting updates, events and bugfixes.
The reason to buy DLC is to support development if you like the game, and to get some nice shiny cosmetics. But there is no gameplay content in DLC, so its not needed to play the game fully at all.

The DRG devs are pretty cool like that :)

You get access to the whole game just by buying it, a rare spectacle these days! Even the battle pass feature is free, and anti-FOMO (old season items are shuffled into the loot pool, instead of being gone forever)

DLCs are all just weapon skins, armor designs, a golden name in the in-game chat, etc. All purely cosmetic. The amount of paid cosmetics pales in comparison to the amount unlockable in-game, too. So no worries about not looking cool enough!!

If you like playing dress-up with your dwarves, and are a stickler for proper accessorizing, you might want to pick up the Dark Future and Robot Rebellion cosmetic packs, because those outfits coordinate best with the Neon and Waster weapon skins you might find as in-game loot. The Dark Future pack is also the only way to get a solid black paint scheme for your guns.

You could also argue that the neon lights on the [i[Dark Future[/i] armor and the golden paintjob from the [i[Supporter Pack[/i] upgrade make your dwarf more visible in the dark caves and could thus reduce friendly fire incidents, except depending on your teammates, that might cause more friendly fire incidents instead.

I bought Supporter upgrade pack and Dark future pack. Both are very nice addon to the game, you can make badass looks for your dwarves in endless variation! The rest is not for me...

All are important if you wish to support the devs and see new content for this game. Play for a couple hundred hours and then buy it all ;)

As everyone has stated above, purely cosmetic HOWEVER... Some DLCs have colours that really suit a specific class.

Dark Future is very good for engineer
Megacorp gives a nice group of skins for each gun, best imo being the gunner and scout ((the white finish on both of them looks really nice))
Roughneck is PERFECT for driller. Lots of yellow and caution stripes.
Dawn of Dread is a bit of fun that just makes everything look buggified.
Rival tech makes the guns look REALLY nice, for everyone but again imo scout and gunner's look the best.
Robot Rebbellion is a little meh but ok for engy / driller I suppose
Biohazard looks gawdy and makes your team look more like sewage workers lol I think command really is run by elves if that's what they are sending us.
Supporter pack is just that, buy if you wanna support them more and gold....GOLD EVERYWHERE!!!!

I personall like the Megacorp and Rival Tech DLCs the most as they really do make your guns look nice. Either blocky and no-nonsense or hightech and futuristic.

I always give it to everyone who spent life time to answer me
