Good ways to get gold and minerals fast?
I'm hitting a point where I've burned through most of my early game crafting materials.

Forget about gold unless you drink PoG, aim for mineral manias at highest comfortable haz with some red warnings on top to boost it even more if they do not disrupt mission too much.

Croppa can have HUGE veins, even bigger than 40 units so you will have lots of credits selling it, take daily deals too. Do mineral trade assignment if you for whatever reason did not yet, crafting materials are worth 25-75 times more than gold.

If you can find the anomalies, golden bugs and gold rush can give you a pretty good amount of gold, rare as they are. Extracting compressed gold and killing golden loot bugs also help. If you can find a crassus detonator (which are quite rare), lure it into a tiny tunnel and then kill it, you can mine a very large amount of gold.

For minerals, you will want the mineral mania anomaly, and to kill Huuli Hoarders as often as you can.

Popping open cargo crates and finding lost packs will supply a decent amount of gold and minerals.

Most of the time, the best way to get more gold and minerals is to host or join a mission you like at the highest hazard level you are comfortable with. For me, these are mining expeditions and on-site refining hosted at haz 3 or joined at haz 3/4.

The best classes for extracting as much wealth from the caves as quickly as possible are Scout and Driller.

Rock and Stone, miner!

Go to Mineral Mania kind of missions. Taking those minerals and selling them in the mineral terminal is very helpful if you need money for other minerals. P.S. If you encounter Crassus Detonator, make a tunnel straight to the wall, wait for Crassus to go midway in and kill it. By doing that you can dig a whole sphere of gold instead of just a part of it when you kill Crassus outside. ALSO you can peak missions with GOLDEN BUGS (which are lucrative anyway), and if you encounter Naedocyte Breeder, don't hasten to kill it, because it spawns infinite bugs who drops 1 gold per kill. The amount of gold is measured by your patience and determination. But at the number of around 6000 game starts lagging. P.P.S. Mining gold is essential unless you are a mere leaflover. True dwarfs never miss an opportunity to dig out some gold to become richer. May your bag be full of gold, Rock and Stone, Brother!

Mining expedition and egg hunt are probably your best options. Preferably mid/long length. They spawn a lot of minerals. If you can get a mineral mania then it's even better.
You don't need to focus on credits, because the best way to make credits is to sell minerals. Just try and grab as many minerals as you can. They're the good stuff.

As much as some hate it, TCF'ing any gold vein you see probably speeds it up a lot, especially if you get a crassus or goldrush w.o. pots.

Swarmaggedon + Golden Bugs will also net you a tidy sum at the end of the mission. Not necessarily the most optimal way to get rich quick, but worth keeping in mind if nothing else shows up in a rotation.

That or go after every Lithoplague Warning right now coz that gives +50% bonus.

That bonus boosts material gained, right?
