Nothing, in fact they would make the game worse for me.
They provide a lot of chances for FF.
So now we can kill Scouts even faster!
Unlikely.
Just having another reason to.
Some people have said "Oh just add options to his kit so you can negate/avoid getting hurt with enough skill. Like dodging, parrying, shields, etc." To this I say, I don't want a f#&king Dark Souls game in my casual co-op shooter. DRG is a game you turn your brain off to play. I do not want to constantly be doing math, side-stepping enemies, and parrying.
"But you could just not play the class!" And why would anyone play a melee class when the other classes are all ranged? Either you make him over-powered, and everyone plays him, or you make him balanced with the other classes - in which case most people will quickly realize there's no point playing a complicated, melee-only class, when the ranged characters are so much easier.
and to any other person who reads this, KNOW that here are the THREE SUBJECTS
that every single DRG Vet Player has seen suggested before, Literally HUNDREDS of Times, Will Not Happen, and will get you Immediate Derision and possibly Outright Hatred-
The THREE SUBJECTS are-
1- Crossplay (with XBOX/Microsoft)
2- Melee Weapons
3- A Medic Class
Just Please, don't ever bring them up
Don’t forget number 4- PVP
