No, they already said it wasn't possible; it doesn't have good enough specs to run the game well basically.

No, Switch doesn´t got a good hardware to run such of those games.
You can see it even in Minecraft how bad the performance can be there. :er_sad:

Even games that were made specifically with the weak switch hardware in mind run like ♥♥♥♥, forget running drg on that thing.

Yeah as much as I love Breath of the Wild, places like the Great Hyrule Forest tank the frame rate really bad lol.

The devs have said the Switch doesn't have enough RAM. They've said that DRG requires more RAM than a lot of games because the entire procedurally generated level layout and other properties are held there during the mission, and the Switch simply needs more for DRG to work.

yes i would love to play drg at 480p ~20fps for twice the cost and paid online

The only solution would be a specific switch version with smaller caves.

And reduced effects.

The switch hardware is realy realy bad, its the worst of any new handheld on the market.
If you dont want any issues what so ever, then not only the cave generation needs to be tuned down but also the special effects. Otherwise it will be turning into a slideshow the moment you start shooting or get a big wave of enemies.

So in essence make a new game... not realy worth the time and money.

No. For some third party, probably. Would they do that, not likely.

Depends on whether you want more than 6 polygons and 2 colors

Think about it this way.
Even the steam deck can have problems running this at 60 fps at times.
And the steam deck is infinitely more powerful than the switch.
