Why Does it Say "Modded" Next to My Name?

I'm having trouble getting my friend to join my game through Steam invites, and I'm wondering if this is the issue. I've never modded my game.

Also, the Disband Team option is always available, even when I first load the game before I even invite anyone. Might this be why my friend can't join?

Try launching in safe mode and see if that fixes things.

When you get the "Modded" next to the name it means you have a approved mod and i think your friend cant join unless he has the same approved mod.Verified mods don't change the gameplay and are mostly visual and audio changes and the rest of the players dont need to have it,approved mods change the gameplay so you cant use those mods in non modded servers.

you clearly do have mods enabled though if the (Modded) tag is showing up next to your name
check the mods tab in the pause menu and see what's there; disable anything categorised as "approved" "sandbox" or "unknown". "verified" is ok

also yes the "disband team" option is available at all times, that's deliberate
its used to reload the space rig in case you need the option

Sure enough, there were a couple of mods. Not sure where they came from, I've never even visited the workshop for this game. :shrug:

Could be possible that you joined a lobby with approved mods at one point and had those mods installed "forcefully".
