is it worth buying DRG without discount?
it will be unpleasant if I buy the game for the full price, and after 3 days there will be a 100% discount for this game together with dls (for example). It will be especially unpleasant if during these days I will not be able to find a team for a fun game that will accept me as a dwarf brother and not as a random for an hour, and I will sadly dig this stone together with Bosco, sometimes shooting bugs. the situation is also heated by the fact that the last discount ended about a month ago, respectively, a new one is approaching. how hard is it to find caring team in this game?

The most I've seen the game go on sale for is 50% off. I'm also pretty sure there's a steam sale coming up so i'd just wait.

In a few days there will be a discount (probably 50%) so I would wait.

If you fall in love you can still gift it to other people if you want.

Also a majority of players simply play with random players together

I've played a fair few games that were in Steam Early Access. Some were good, some where ♥♥♥♥. Some never left, some left too early. DRG is without a doubt, the single best game I have played from Steam's Early Access launches. The game's fun as well and super well polished, updated at a fair rate, and the only DLCs for the game are cosmetics, which are used to fund the big content updates. I've been playing for over 400 hours and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. There might be a sale with the launch of S3, there might not, but I do truly think DRG is worth it's full asking price.

So, i have like maybe 1400 hrs. IMO it's worth 30, but I enjoy the gameplay loop and RNG chaos with full rando teams. The game seems like it's on sale more than it isn't so if you wanted to wait for a sale it probably wouldn't be a long wait.

To answer your other questions generally, toxicity is pretty rare. You'll be fine hosting or hopping into rando teams.

Wait like 2 days to see if there's a sale on Nov 3rd. It'll also probably be on sale on the 22nd when the autumn sale hits.

Played for over 1k hours, basically nothing but random lobbies, and it's easily the best community in a co-op game. Not saying it's absent of ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but the ratio is the lowest I've ever experienced.

Yes, its not expensive for what you get gameplay and content wise.
But like any game, its subject to how much you like the genre and style.

As with a large number of the community, i have way more hours and fun in this game than the price reflects. So i have bought all dlc's and will keep doing so.

The game is worth any penny. Pure love project.

If you want to host, just make sure you're on stable internet connection and cable only. Wifi is forbidden.

Honestly even for full price it's a steal. You can do solo, you can do teamwork, you can enjoy this game for a long time. It doesn't get bored easy, you can control how hard it is, so as you progress you ramp up difficulty..or don't.

Only downside is that it can get annoying when you DC during mission when someone hosting has internet connections. But as long as he remains stable, you can keep rejoining even if your internet dies. By the way forums here are little on fanatical side when it comes to this, so don't bother complaining there. For base price they keep expanding game like mad since all DLC's are cosmetic only. Supported and loved by both devs and players for a reason!
