What happend to no double dip rule?
I get it, greenbeards may not know about that holy unwritten rule and that's ok. Most of the time telling them about it do the trick.

But I feel like its becoming much more common to 100+ dwarves to double dip, even multiple times per mission.

I'm trying to use my ammo as efficiently as I can by using half of it on all my weapons, granades etc.

Haz5, everyone's alive so there is no need to use someone's resupply to save the game and boom. Some pointy leaf lover casually double dips on my ammo when I'm as a gunner running dry on all my weapons.

As in the title - What happend to that rule? Am I the only one to observe such elvish behaviour?

Rock and Stone to those who respect our holy Karl rules!

I quatro dip all resupply drops.

Bosco never complains.

Take all ressuplies to assert dominance as the ultimate dwarf. I though this was common knowledge.

If they double dip, I stop killing bugs. You would be surprised how many HAZ 5 missions you can complete without firing a shot. They double dip, they can shoot things. Simple.

That's what I actually do. Take my ammo? Fine, I won't shoot then.

You guys crack me up. Someone double dips so instead of calling them out, you sulk in silence, stop shooting and put the entire team at a disadvantage? Hilarious.

Ontopic, I haven't noticed more double dipping recently, not in Haz5 nor elsewhere

Nor have I, in fact in most missions I've run I've seen it to be more and more common that folks abstain on a resupply and it just sits there unused. We end up with 3-4 resupplies out, each with 1-2 resupplies available on it, which is perfectly fine albeit a little odd.

I have never said that I'm not calling them out so stop putting words in someones mouth. Even if I don't know who did it, I make sure to notify everyone that someone double dipped.

And about that "putting team at a disadvantage" - please, enlighten me, how am I supposed to shoot without ammo?

Let's just assume you're telling the truth. So I guess you leave out the part where you stop shooting? Either that, or your hosts are saints (or morons).

Noone has ever called more than one resupply during a mission, ever. Because the way you phrased it: "You would be surprised how many HAZ 5 missions you can complete without firing a shot." implies you don't shoot again til the end.

If the teams sitting on 300+ Nitra, the double dip rule doesn't really apply anymore lol.

There are exceptions to the rule. An experienced driller or engie can burn through ammo like crazy and hold off a 4 player haz 5 swarm by themselves, so somebody isn't pulling their weight if they have to double dip. Most of the time it's because somebody (usually scout) is barely using their ammo but taking a resup anyways just to top off their nades/support tools, so whoever has been doing all the killing has to take another resup to compensate.

Sabotaging the entire team just because somebody took your ammo is extremely petty. I can't imagine how conceited somebody would have to be to go through the majority of the mission being a complete dead weight and somehow not realize they were being carried by players vastly more skilled than them the entire match.

As said in post, mostly im running dry on my guns = no ammo = stop shooting.

You may not belive me and it's fine, your call. But if I do have ammo then there is no reason to stop - I just don't have the time to risk loosing Haz5 missions beacuse of my ranting.

I do something similar if people start events and they don't give me time to make a defense or setup turrets/plats/mines as Engi, I just don't set them up; if you don't care I don't care either lol.

If I'm out before someone else I'll double dip, it's better than being out of ammo, especially if it's on a dreadnought mission and I've got a good gun for it.
Smetrix Oct 31, 2022 @ 6:18am
I havent had a double dip problem in awhile, but as others have stated, doesnt matter when you have more nitra than you need lol.
