Missing battery for cargo crate and other problems with the game.
I could not find the second battery for 2 cargo in a row

It would be so awesome if i didnt have to waste my time searching for a battery that as bugged..oh wow a bug ! WHO KNEW.

There is way to much bugs spawing in solo play, i never had the time to try to listen to the wonderful ''pulsing'' noise because it was muffled with the incessant noise of gunfire and bug dying and explosions.

The cargo crate mini-game needs a rework

Batteries will always be spawned within 30m of the crate itself, which means they can spawn on any open surface within those 30m, including caves on other sides of walls. Once you know where the crate itself is, you can then begin to discern where the batteries can possibly be hiding. This information can also be used in reverse for finding the crate said batteries go to (ie. Found battery? ok the crate is guaranteed to be within 30m of the battery.) The worst possible move you can make once you have found either of the batteries is run around with it expecting it to lead you towards the crate.

In my experience the sound of the batteries are easier to make out with headphones or speakers with a good low end.

Absolutely, this game has really REALLY good 3d sound filters for headphones. Folks might need to turn them on, or set sound to headphones, but you can tell EXACTLY where things are by sound with good headphones.

A 30m Radius Cylinder though. Not a 30m Radius SPHERE. So the area is a slice through the map, any amount up or down from the spawn point.

The batteries were there. You just did not find them.

As other posters have stated, the batteries will spawn within a certain range in a sphere from the crate. This sphere does not take terrain into account at all, meaning that it could be hiding in a completely separate cave you have not discovered yet.

Try standing close to the crate and using the map. If you see a cave in the distance you did not know about, the battery is probably there if you've looked everywhere else.

Very much this. Picking up a battery if you haven't found the crate is an iron-clad greenbeard mistake. Especially in PE or refinery missions, rookies find them and bring them to the rig wanting to hoard them or try to deposit them, which makes finding the crate a lot harder than before.

unless you're in point extraction, you have at least 4-5 minutes between each swarms.

It was exactly the mode i was playing in ! I never knew the rules were different for a point extraction map, now i know.

So that's where your problem is coming from :P¨
Yeah, each mission kinda have it's own way to trigger swarms, more or less. All you need to know is that Point Extraction gets harder and harder the longer you stay in the mission, until it's eventually just one big constant wave.
Is the bug still in deep dive so that it takes the entire dive time as the current mission time and thus start off in "HARDEST POSSIBLE" if PE is third in a dive?
