"INDUSTRIAL MASK MOVED TO BEARD SLOT
The Industrial Mask from Season 01 performance pass has been moved from headwear slot to beard slot so that it can now be used with other headwear."
Would be nice if you read the patch notes before whining.
why write here if you're just going to be a toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
They may have missed it. It was a genuine mistake. You lot seriously need to learn to be nice to people who make genuine mistakes rather than seeing everyone in the same light. It's not like they said "DEVS SUCK >:(((( HOW DARE REMOVE HAT I HATE UNINSTALL GIVE REFUND", is it?
X for doubt.
Why not say "did I miss some patch notes?" instead of snarky "would be nice to write that in the patch notes".
You're the toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here, I'm just responding in kind.
It was as passive aggressive as it gets. It wasn't a question, it wasn't a mild remark, it was a "would be nice if someone actually did their job" remark.
Simply responding in kind. Had it been "did I miss some patch notes?" I would've linked it and said "yep here you go".
Then ask "did I miss it?".
It was an unnecessary passive aggressive remark putting blame on others instead of a) looking it up , b) asking, or c) not even commenting about it and just saying "oh nevermind found it".
A mistake is a mistake, being snarky about it is no mistake. That passive aggressive remark was no mistake, that was an intended slight. You don't accidentally type that kind of stuff.
And in return you get a similar remark.
No, it isn't, but don't pull that passive aggressive ♥♥♥♥ on me or you get it right back in your face.
And know whats really sad? if you report someone like that, the moderator here (dwarfurious) just gets super mad and salty, as if you personally attacked him. claiming you spammed a report when you send only one. He's just as bad as this whole community. And dont get me started on their behaviour on the Discord server
Figures that the community is a like this when moderators are the same...
You're right about all of this, and please don't take it as me trying to be a ♥♥♥♥, because I'm not, I promise.
At the end of the day yes, they didn't, but maybe they genuinely missed it. The problem is that a lot of people here seem to be taking offence at any small minute mistake. It's not like this thread was one of the dozens of troll threads popping up as of late. And I don't think their comment about it not being in the logs was intended to be snarky, they may have genuinely been asking. I too skim the logs, because most of the important stuff is announced in the narration video.
Could they have asked where it was? Yeah. Could this have been avoided? Yeah! Totally. But I seriously think it wasn't as malicious as you think it was.
I just think this forum could strive to be less hostile to some people. If this had been a thread condemning the devs or seriously blaming them for a non-existent issue, then yeah, by all means, say what you want, but to me this seriously seemed like an innocent mistake.
Come on now, that really isn't true. This community is really nice pretty much 95% of the time. Dwarfurious himself is pretty cool.
Honestly though this thread is getting kinda long now lol
Because you have included me with your generalized rant about Deep Rocks Steam community, i think it's only fair for me to respond.
Please don't. It's a bummer how bad you think people are around here. But let me say two things:
1.Generalizations like that, are not only a philosophical fallacy, they tend to rile people up. It's like oil to the fire.
2. Instead of such a response, an answer to Johnno could have been nice. He had the courtesy to explain himself. Did you read his explaination, why he reacted the way he did? Do you comprehend/understand? Because it surely doesn't seem like it.
A little bit of calm and goodwill goes a long way. Misunderstandings, accidental bad wording. All these things can happen. Let's keep it civil and without premature reports, please. As long as there is a willingness to listen and answer, there is a chance of understanding. Don't rob yourself of this.
Rock and Stone.
At reddit, someone was asking if it was possible to put the neck brace in the beard category so they can use it with their favorite headwear.
Jacob (or some other dev) said it can't be done. Moments later, another dev replied "actually... we might be able to work something out" and the rest is history.
