Beast Master or Dash?
I am using the perk that give faster + 1 insta revive for teammates and Hover Boots.

First one is good it can stay I use it plenty in the matches, but I literally always forget about Hover Boots and it’s equipped only because I had no other interesting options.

Now 2 options present themselves: Beast Master and Dash. Which one is better IYO and why? I am leaning towards Beast Master cuz it’s one more target that gets the aggro of the bugs instead of myself/my team at least based on what I have seen other people use it. I literally have never seen someone use Dash or if I did, it is not noticeable.

Dash. Great for running around even when there are no threats around.

The best part of Beast Master is that Steeve attracts enemies like LURE. But honestly... You can do the same. Just kite.

Ah, I also have the perk that makes you be able to sprint faster if you run for 4 seconds or so. I already have a perk dedicated to being able to run faster so isn’t dash kind of redundant in this case?
Dash except on Scout; neither of them for him.

That seems like a very situational perk for very rare enemies.... you may not even encounter them in the whole match....I think I will pass on the offer.

When you're grabbed and left screaming until dead, you'll remember me.

Dash is awesome, I can't imagine playing without it once I started using it. Has great combat uses, lets you make big jumps, and speeds up your movement in a straight line.

Field medic is great because if things do go wrong, you are at your most vulnerable (reviving) for much shorter. You also essentially get a IW charge but for a teammate with it.

Heightened senses isn't as useful IMHO because there aren't a lot of games where it would make a difference, compared to how many games I would have lost if I didn't have an instant revive.

Beast master look fun, it helps you not go down in the first place. I'll probably try it out again but for now I prefer faster revives for more consistent benefit.

Also resupplier is a great passive, it just has so many positives; once you use it, resupplying normally just feels SO SLOW. Vampire is fun as well, especially on driller, and thorns because I am bad at killing swarmers before they chip me down. Born ready and friendly are also cool, because I don't like reloading and a guilt-free RJ250 shot to clear off bugs on your free lures teammates is always nice.

Ironically it is a perk I use in just about every mission... I rarely need the "active" aspect of the perk, but when I do it's extremely useful since most of the times I do get grabbed I'm distracted during a swarm and the perk insta-kills the grabber/shark so it is no longer a nuisance to the rest of the team. It's well worth one of the active perk slots and is on all of my configs except one gunner build which I run Dash + Field Medic /w combat mobility.

Dash helps you not die and cross over gaps when engineer is snoozing. Beast master helps you annoy your team to the point they start dumping ammo into your stupid bug and then your face. Hope it helps.
Beast Master for Scout because he already has a dash on short cooldown. Everyone else, dash.

Dash has 25 second cooldown, you can use it in many ways.
Get yourself out from stun attacks like slasher/jelly
Get yourself out from goo
Long C4/nade tosses
Cliff jumps
Reposition yourself
To reach out weakpoints of enemies quicker if you are using weakpoint dmg bonus builds.
Basically when you get comfortable with aggresive close range playstyle dash helps a lot.

Steeve's aggro is great aswell but after a while I got optimised killing each enemy they usually die before steeve's help is really useful. +In missions like salvage bet-c/steeve can block your shots.

Dash. Imo best perk in the game by a wide margin once you know how to use it. The cooldown is ridiculously low.

Heightened senses is my second favourite perk. You don't always need the active effect but when you do, you need it badly. The passive effect comes in handy most missions.

Beast Master isn't a bad choice either.

Dash for personal safety. More offensive and utility use too.
