Strange blue spinning cube on the map and I don't know what it's for

so I found a strange blue spinning cube on the map and I went there to find out that it was.

I get to exactly where it is. And there's nothing there. what is it meant for?

I think you just placed a marker on the map. It's like CTRL+E or something (I have it in muscle memory only lol). You use it to mark things you consider important so you can return to them later (unmined nitra vein for example).

- CTRL+E places a personal waypoint
- Wurst Beer mugs (it gloes blue when in the ground... deposit for 2x event XP; but guarded by enemies; if you dig it up it stops glowing blue but still is on the map)
- Aquarq (Point Extract)

I heavily suspect it's a Wurst Beer mug.

I'm 100% sure it wasn't a Wurst Beer mug, those are Wurst Beer mug shaped. not cube shaped.

and it was elimination so not Aquarq

and there was no marker where it was, so probably not a marker.

If you look at where it was and hold down the laser pointer a marker might appear. The "Use key" marker only appears while using the laser pointer after it's placed. It's a silent personal marker. Try that out the next time you're in a mission. Guessing from the hip since I'm not going to check at this exact moment.

I didn't think about trying to see if it's visible when using the laser pointer.

I think at one point I asked another player in-game if they could see anything at a specific point on the map. This feature also confused me when I was new.
