Right now I'm running it ACABB.
Idk about Bullet Hell, not really my style; but it has it's fans.
the problem with spinning death is mostly its lack of ammo.
About bullet hell, its sadly an overclock I rarely use. I dont feel it is very good.
Unfortunately, it has very little shots. It’s range is also short, but still, I cannot stress how good this oc is enough.
Pro tip: It doubles as a more offensive gunner shield. Just shoot, then stand inside the shot and any melee bugs trying to attack you will die. Meanwhile, use your primary to take out any projectile enemies targeting you. The Born Ready perk pairs with this weapon very nicely.
The reason I never gave Spinning Death much of a try is that it used to be brutal on some players' hardware, and my primary coop partner has some issues with his. Didn't want to risk setting his PC on fire. Don't know if it still does, but I was never that into the BC in the first place either. I was PGL all the way until the Diffractor showed up.
Just to clarify, in case there is any confusion, reds are not inherently better than greens or yellows.
A little more oomph is my go to minigun OC and it's a green for example.
Spinning death, while I don't think it as good as say HVT, inferno, or lightweight cases, can be very effective by stunning and killing groups of bugs, praetorians, or other big bois.
Spinning death is great for locking down a choke or stunlocking a group of enemies... but you could also just shoot 2 into any direction and anything smaller than a preat will die. It just seems really pointless to go through all the trouble of making a stationary death zone when you could just outright kill things. You cannot spam fire, the range is short, the AoE is small... it's just not that great.
Bullet hell is decent at bad angles (e.g. they are coming down the walls) or when you just can't line 'em up and blast 'em. You give up too much damage for when you actually need it for me to consider it worthwhile. As others have already mentioned, other primaries do what this OC does, but better in every possible way.
Basically a big plus to damage, a nerf to stun; and you can't move while shooting.
also blow through is the best option in t3 and I get annoyed for some reason when i see someone use stun or armor break over the gods gift tho dwraven kind know as blow through.
(im over exaggerating but blow through is king)
