Progress Reset? No Cloud Saves?

So i'm out for a couple of weeks and i have a different PC. When i installed DPR my progress was resetted and i need to complete the tutorial again.

I imagined that this game saves my progress in the server, but after searching for this issue i keep seeing that... i really need the save file from my other computer?

If thats the case i suggest looking into this issue and activating the cloud saving for this game (if its possible and it's not already implemented).

There are cloud saves on steams end; and backup saves in the games save folder for when the cloud doesnt work. If you ever log in and your username is your PC name then restart steam. Worst case scenario, contact me in the discord and i'll get you a new save

First look in the backup folder, then check the in game backup restore system in the menu

Would be good if the save would not get eradicated from the steam cloud every time I breath the wrong way, with no way to recover, because the game already set steam to override any saved backup with a blank version...

Completing the game for the third f-ing time (I'm genuinely angry right now) when you just want to mess around with the mechanics you already unlocked twice is a very cruel and unusual punishment.

Did you try the "Restore Save" option in the options menu?

Sorry to resurect this thread but I have a friend having the same issue and they wiped the previous hard drive it was installed on cause they were doing a complete reinstall of windows is there any way to get the save back?

If the drive was completely wiped, and cloud saves were not enabled, then that progress is dust in the wind.

Once ingame hit Esc - options - save menu - restore save.

And make sure cloud saves are enabled in the game's properties in your Steam library.
