I know it wont happen that way though if a queen was added and many wont like it locked behind deep dive too.
All the glyphids in the area get angry, and shout at the same time.
2) There are eggs that have swarmers in them on some maps.
3) Dreadnoughts fling eggsacks.
That means there are at least two different variants of Glyphid Queens, which are at least Dreadnought class.
(And assuming green eggs are Dreadnought eggs, and only few of them reach viability.)
The egg screams are unique, iirc. It angering glyphids doesn't mean a whole lot, because a LOT of things anger the glyphids-- hacking pod; PE platform entry; doretta and other machines; the presence of dwarves... The scream audible from where we dig it and shakes the screen, so it's not a stretch to say that it can agitate the glyphids in the area as well.
It could be some kind of mactera mother, but I think it's something big that we haven't seen.
It sounds more like a single massive creature, which is then followed by local glyphids. The first, main scream would be very loud, and is visibly enough to shake the area. It's more likely that the glyphids are agitated by that, isn't it?
Monosodium glutamate (MSG), also known as sodium glutamate, is the sodium salt of glutamic acid. MSG is found naturally in some foods including tomatoes and cheese. MSG is used in cooking as a flavor enhancer with an umami taste that intensifies the meaty, savory flavor of food, as naturally occurring glutamate does in foods such as stews and meat soups.
