DX 12 stutter during games
So when using DX12 the fps is greatly improved but it seems to stutter as if its loading things during the mission.... For example if I play as driller with the sludge gun the first time I will fire it the game will stutter for a second or more as if its loading the textures up for the projectile or animation.

Another example would be if a glyphid menace spawns in the level my game will stutter in much the same way as if its loading it in. If another menace spawns later it will not happen with the 2nd one .

Any idea what this is or any fixes for it ?

its dx12 shader caching. for whatever reason some devs decide to do it during gameplay
which causes the stutter you are noticing. but most will do it during loading screens/ at the menu when loaded for the first time to avoid such stutter. it becomes less frequent over time as more shaders get cached . just bear in mind everytime you update your gpu driver it has to cache those shaders all over again.
